RE: Electric Fire Place In Raptor 3612DS (2006)

What next, a 12V messaging recliner, or better yet a jacuzzi with 30+ messaging jets. Humm...come to think of it, I'd pay the extra to have the jacuzzi option.
I have a portable hot tub I pull up in the back. It's great. Lots of fun at rallies. Be careful though loose threads off bathing suits stop up the filters. I have a rule that fixed that.:E

RE: Haggling over price

You are going to make a large investment. It is smart to go into a deal well armed. I am not affiliated with any of the groups I am going to mention I am just another RV'er. I just purchased a 3712ts Raptor today. Prior to this I found a guy "Dave" at RVGURU.com. I told him what I was looking at and what I was trading. For 39 bucks he did some research, got back with me and councled me own what I should be able to buy and trade for. I saved 18'000 off MSRP and got 2000 more than whole sale for my used unit. I had to shop the country via phone and Internet but it paid off. There was another service that helped also and it was RV Insiders guide. A lot of downloadable information from this sight for a small fee. Find an RV show and go look there to get some ideas, don't buy just look. I paid 8000 less than the special once in a life time show only price on my unit and found a RV Dealer with in 100 miles that would make the deal I wanted.

RE: Anyone cancelling trips due to gas prices?

Yes we canciled. We are planning 4 much shorter trips 200 miles or less round trip. I think the kids will still have fun we are just getting more creative. Oh buy the way gas was 27 cents per gallon a month ago in Venizuealla. 87 cents over in the sand box, and 98 cents in the rural parts of Mexico. We are getting &%#$ and not getting kissed.

RE: 2nd A/C in a toy hauler which end do I put it on.

Thanks. Keep your fingers crossed I am going to PC Beach tommorrow to close the deal on a new raptor. I never bought a new RV always used and I have mixed emotions about taking the hit on buying new. What are some of your opinions on this subject?
PS looks like the air is going in the bedroom.

2nd A/C in a toy hauler which end do I put it on.

Looks like I'm buying a 3712ts Raptor. Experiance tells me I want the second a/c. My question is do I want to install it in the rear or in the bed room? I've never owned a toy hauler. Note I will be using the rear for a kids bed room more than just storage. I need to hear from some of you that have learned the hard way. Thanks!!!

RE: Toy Haulers with a glass door? HELP

Thanks for the reply I hope to hear from more people. I am trying to figure out what to buy and where. I currently have a Prowler AX6 Regal 37' 5th wheel. This unit is very nice for 2 people but I have a family of 5. I need the bunks that the TH has to offer.

Toy Haulers with a glass door? HELP

I was looking at TH at the ATL rv show and saw a Fusion with a glass door between the living area and the garage. I am wondering what other units have this feature.
